My first ride on June 20.
So finally some time to start writing about riding! All my maps are at http://runkeeper.com so you can check them out if interested.
I started cycling in Tucson by first scouting out some possible routes, that I had figured could then later on become my permanent morning ride. My first target was the pittoresque San Xavier del Bac mission just 7 miles from our current accommodation. The ride itself is a nice warm-up, there's hardly in hills it is mainly flat terrain. So I am riding my wonderful GT series One road bike and life is good until I turned back. A pack of dogs came charging from one yard and started chasing me! I quickly changed gears and started pedaling hard, it is amazing how fast one can go with some extra adrenaline. I really felt sorry for the woman who was jogging on the same route, I really hope she is alright...
maybe you can have some kind of peppar spray or steaks with next time ... ;D
